In 2023 we would like to reach more children than ever before. The global pandemic has had a deep and widespread impact on early childhood development and education including crucial language and communication skills, literacy and socialisation.
World Nursery Rhyme Week is a fun, enjoyable initiative aimed at children from newborn to 7 years, and participation is free of charge. Nursery rhymes help to boost early language, communication and literacy skills in a way that is exciting and engaging for young children.
Your support means that more parents and early years practitioners will get to hear about this fantastic initiative and more children will benefit as a result.
How can I help to spread the word?
All registrants for World Nursery Rhyme Week have the option to sign up as a Nursery Rhyme Ambassador, and we have included a number of resources for our Ambassadors in our free resource pack. These include social media images you may wish to use as well as some suggested content ideas for social media.
